The Grove’s biggest summer street party returns. Thousands of riders take Manchester Avenue — right past our front door — for the 20th annual World Naked Bike Ride. Live entertainment from 8 PM. Festivities run until 11 PM. Mark your calendar.
JAVA is actually two connected spaces on Manchester Avenue. Walk between them inside — one entrance for cocktails and weeknight programming, the other for the big shows and private events.
Always open to the public. A coffee bar, cocktail lounge, and everyday hang — walk in for a latte, a cocktail, a live DJ set in the booth, or just to post up.
Community Room for Events, Arts & Music. JAVA’s 500-capacity event space (800 for full venue-wide buyouts), available for private rentals — concerts, parties, brand activations, corporate events, fundraisers, milestone celebrations. Open to the public when we host a ticketed show; rentable any other time.

Bands, DJs, comedians, MCs, poets — anyone with a set. We book four nights a week at the event space and the bar’s built-in DJ booth, plus touring headliners. Touring acts and local artists both welcome. Share a link, tell us your story, we’ll listen to everything.

Two connected venues from day one: Hot Java Bar at 4193 and C.R.E.A.M. (Community Room for Events, Arts & Music) at 4197. Coffee, cocktails, culture, and live music, all on Manchester Avenue.
The event space was built for the artists who play it — a ROE Visual LED video wall, full nightclub-grade sound and lighting, and live-streaming capability that turns every show into a broadcast. The bar next door is where you start the night with a drink and end it with both.
Four nights a week of live R&B, open mic, and late-night dance parties — plus the touring artists and private events that fill the room the rest of the time. Come for the show, stay for the after.
